Good afternoon,
We hope that you had a wonderful Fall Break with your family and a Happy Thanksgiving! It was certainly a beautiful time to be outside in our area. The garden loved the sunshine. We look forward to welcoming our friends back this week!
During Break, Mr. Jesse and nephew Isaac began a long-planned extension and enclosure of the covered back patio. They dug footers to prepare for a concrete pour soon. This project will continue 12/9-1/17/25 around Isaac’s college break, with the area fenced off from our students until complete. We look forward to using this additional enclosed space for some of our Afternoon Enrichment, Summer Camps, and as an adult workspace during Stay and Play this year. We have a few other ideas up our sleeve…we’ll keep you posted as we make this space come alive!
Moms, don’t forget our gratis Women’s Night Out this Friday, December 6 from 6:00-8:30pm at KindFolk Apothecary + Wellness, just down Vista Ridge Blvd from HHFC. We’ll enjoy hand massages, reiki, tea from KindFolk, as well as Texas nibbles, desserts, and drinks by HHFC. Please take a moment to RSVP. Thank you for all of your kindness, support, and referrals this year!
12/14 we have a Morning Make and Take Class as well as a Night Out! These are both great opportunities to have your child’s needs met while you enjoy time completing holiday errands, relaxing with a partner or friends, or taking some time for yourself! See signups below under “December Special Events”.
Please note—Summer Camp 2025 registration will go live on Monday, January 6. We will offer our normal M-Th 8:30am-3:30pm schedule as well as NEW M-Th half-day spaces 9:00am-1:00pm. Camp Weeks are as follows:

wrap up the work week, run errands, pick up groceries, make those appointments, schedule brunch or lunch, volunteer! Perfect for co-op, homeschooling, and private school friends who have Fridays off!

$100 for 1-3 children
$125 for 4 children
Children can be from more than one family, so parents can share costs (one family will be invoiced). Payments are non-refundable, but credit toward another offering is possible with a cancellation 24 hours in advance. Olivia will bring an HHFC suitcase with some play starters! No transport of children by vehicle is possible.

Make and Take Classes
We will have fun in the studio kitchen together learning a variety of cooking skills. Children will sample and take home what is made in the class as well as a recipe and where applicable, cooking, warming, and freezing instructions. As with all of our offerings, there will also be play indoors and outdoors.
9:00am-12:30pm or 1:00pm-4:30pm. Class time is noted in each sign-up. $75/child
