Good afternoon,
We had a nice week with our camp friends! Popular activities were playing with chia seed slime (water, chia seeds, and food coloring), making playdough and gak, drawing with partners on giant paper, and finding hatched turtle shells near the pond.
The kids have been drinking lots of water, needing a little rest in the mornings at home, and eating lots at camp. Don’t forget to send a couple of extra shelf-stable snacks in backpacks for friends who are a bit more selective.
This week Kindfolk Apothecary served as a drop-off for donations to those impacted by local flooding-we were happy to share cases of baby wipes and garbage bags. We still are unable to process the loss of life and property in Central Texas. Spending time with your children and in nature, as always, was a balm for the soul.
Miss Iris will host a Night Out tomorrow evening-Night Out 5-8:30pm Menu: pasta alfredo w/ chicken and vegetables, homemade “cosmic” brownies

Soccer Camp (most at HHFC)
We are excited to share that our nephew Isaac and his friend Mateo will be offering a morning soccer camp adjacent to our program in the greenspace field. These young men not only bring their experience playing on diverse teams/leagues, but they are also experienced and trained coaches. Bathrooms, water, and breaks will be available at HHFC.
Ages: 4-12 years
Time: 8:30-11:30am
Weeks: 7/7, 7/14, 7/21, 7/28 (HHFC closed-camp will be held at Lakeline Park), 8/4
Tuition: $175/week
